SkodaAuto India announced a sales growth of 39.17% for the month of February, 2011with the sale of 2512 units as against 1805 units in February 2010. The Yeti and the Fabia spearheaded the company's growth in the country.

In 2010, Å koda Auto achieved the best sales result in the history of the company. With 762,600 sold vehicles (2009: 684,200), the brand increased its sales 11.5 %. Prof. Dr. h.c. Winfried Vahland, the chairman of the board of Å koda Auto said, "In 2010, Å koda has given an outstanding performance. In almost all markets, we have had significant growth and increased our market shares. Again, our sales have risen at a double-digit pace."

SkodaAuto India today rolled out the 25000th Fabia built in India from the Volkswagen Group’s facility located at Chakan, Pune. Present at the event were Prof. Dr. h.c. SkodaAuto India announced a sales growth of 24% for the month of August 2010 over July 2010. SkodaAuto India’s total sales for August 2010 stood at 1511 units. Skoda has registered a growth in the sales of its flagship car the Skoda Superb and the New Skoda Laura.

SkodaAuto India announced a sales growth of 43% for the month of June 2010 over the same period last year. SkodaAuto India’s total sales for June 2010 stood at 1638 units against 1145 units in June 2009.

Å kodaAuto India, a fully owned subsidiary of SkodaAuto a.s (Czech Republic) today announced the launch of the Skoda Superb 1.8 TSI (petrol) with manual transmission. The launch of the manual transmission in the Superb commemorates the one year success of the all New Superb which was introduced in India in March 2009.

The economic recession seems not to have touched automakers from around the world. In a latest report from Volkswagen, the company claims to have done record deliveries (6.29 million vehicles) than compared to the prior year.
