Toyota has announced via its official USA Facebook page that will unveil the 2014 Corolla on June 6 and have released a teaser image in this regard. We already have an idea of the overall design thanks to the Corolla Furia Concept car that was unveiled at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show.

Force Motors’ new MPV vehicle has been spied testing in Bangalore. The new MPV from the Pune based utility maker is rumoured to be a re-badged version of the Mercedes-Benz Vito. The Vito is basically a commercial van in European market, but a couple of variants are sold in passenger car segment.

The Chevrolet Trax has been spotted testing in Argentina and is expected to go on sale in the South American country in the second half of 2013. The Trax is already on sale in Europe and will now be launched in the developing markets of Latin America as Tracker.

Mercedes-Benz and Tata Motors have parted ways after 60 years. The move comes in the wake of the German automaker opening its paint shop in October last year. Mercedes-Benz had been using Tata’s paint plant since it began local operation in the early 1990s and decided to setup its own facility when the agreement came up for renewal in 2010. 

General Motor India has announced that it will be hiking the price of all its vehicles by up to Rs 10,000 from the first week of June. The hike has been attributed to the increase in the cost transportation and logistics.

BMW has unveiled the facelifted M5 sedan during a special event held before the 24 hours of Nurburgring race. The car features mostly cosmetic changes both on the inside and outside but mechanically remains unchanged.

The Volkswagen Polo GT diesel (TDI) has been spied testing by the team at Oncars. These spy shots have arrived just a few weeks after the Polo GT TSI was launched. The car looks pretty much the same as the petrol GT model and even has the same alloy wheels that were introduced with the new performance version.

Land Rover might delay the all-new rugged version of the Defender. And since the new SUV was to be built in India, it possibly means that the plans for the India facility may suffer. The overall sluggish Indian market and more importantly huge dip in Tata’s sales numbers might be the reasons behind further contemplation.

The Range Rover Evoque XL has been spied in Kerala by the guys at Team-Bhp. The vehicle bears a UK registration plate and has been spotted at Technopark in Trivandrum. The IT Park is home to a Tata ELXI design and development center which leads us believe that the vehicle has been brought into India for review and development purposes. This vehicle had previously been spotted somewhere in Europe by Car Magazine UK.

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe has been spied testing in Europe. These images have surfaced just a few days after the 2014 S-Class was unveiled at a function in Germany. The Coupe is a part of the new S-Class range that will comprise around seven vehicles of various body styles including the top-of-the-line Pullman limousine and high security S-Guard variant.
