Tata’s upcoming small car is in news again as Car Torque has spotted a new prototype model just outside Tata’s Engineering and Research Center in Pimpri, Pune. Codenamed Kite, this new vehicle will replace the long-running Indica when it goes on sale in the second half of 2015 or early 2016.

Gujarat has been an ideal destination for automobile manufacturers to set up their respective facilities, thanks to the state’s affinity to give out better economic benefits to the brands. Honda India is now planning to set up a new production facility in the state.
