Photos of a Fiat Linea Elegante have been circulating over the internet, giving us an early glimpse of this special edition C-Segment sedan. Reports suggest that Fiat is planning to launch this new variant as a limited production model, in the next few weeks.
India’s first F1 driver and well-known racer Narain Karthikeyan was spotted behind the wheel of a camouflaged Tata Kite in Lonavala. The car appears to be a production ready model as it is sporting fully functional projector headlights, alloy wheels and proper bumpers. This also indicates that the testing for the car is in its final stages.
Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., unveiled its all-electric, fully automatic, zero-emission Mahindra e2o in Hyderabad recently. The car is already available in the metros. The premium variant has been priced at Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom Hyderabad). This also includes the government’s FAME (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles) Demand Incentive. In addition, the customer has to pay a fixed monthly e2o care protection plan of Rs 2,999 for 5 years which is valid for 50,000kms.
Taking a step towards its ‘15 in 15’ approach, Mercedes-Benz is going to launch the G 63 AMG in the Indian market tomorrow. Offered in a unique ‘crazy color’ paint scheme, the G63 AMG is a niche performance-oriented SUV which happens to be the German manufacturer’s longest serving vehicle to be in series production.
The Chevrolet Trailblazer has been officially unveiled for the Indian market. It is expected to be launched later this year and will be offered only with the option of a diesel engine. It was showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo along with the Spin MPV.

Mahindra has launched the new generation Scorpio with an automatic gearbox, at Rs 13.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The two new variants are based on the top of the line S10 variant of the Scorpio, and are available with the six-speed automatic gearbox in either two-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive guise.
Maruti Suzuki’s upcoming premium hatchback, internally called YRA, has been spotted undergoing altitude testing in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. One of test mules seemed to be an entry-level version of the hatchback, as it sported basic black steel wheels instead of alloy wheels.
