Fiat to unveil the 2012 Punto at the Frankfurt Motor Show

The Punto 2012 is making its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show. On the outside the Punto 2012 model presents a new front distinguished by a bumper entirely painted in the same shade as the body. The Punto 2012 gets a new design of the 15' alloy rims and new three metallic bodywork colours: Turquoise, Ruby Red and Graphite Grey. In addition, as for the 500 model, the TwinAir name on the Fiat Punto 2012 will indicate not only the revolutionary two-cylinder engine, but also a new trim level with a unique and recognisable look.

Fiat India invites 125 Enthusiasts to its Ranjangaon Plant

Fiat India Automobiles Ltd. welcomed a host of guests from around the country as they gathered in Pune to drive down their favourite Fiat cars to the Fiat factory in Ranjangaon. 60 Fiat cars came together from cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Trivandrum and Pune. The guest list consisted of Fiat enthusiasts and owners of Fiat cars. Around 125 people made their way early morning to Pune after which the convoy of enthusiasts which included Rajeev Kapoor, President and CEO, Fiat India Automobiles, headed off to Fiat’s Ranjangaon plant.

Tata Fiat plant crosses manufacture of 2 lakh power trains

FIAT India Automobiles Ltd today rolled out the 200000th powertrain engine from its Ranjangaon plant in Pune. The state-of-the-art facility at Ranjangaon plant started manufacturing power trains in July, 2008.  FIAT’s facility at Ranjangaon is among largest powertrains manufacturing plants of Fiat anywhere in the world. The plant was built to manufacture engines for Tata and Fiat cars as well as for exporting engines to other Fiat facilities across Europe.

Fiat India Automobiles Achieves 14.7% Sales Growth

Fiat India announced its total sales (including exports) of FIAT branded vehicles in July, 2010. The number of units sold by the company  stood at 2,489. The company’s cumulative sales (including exports) for the fiscal currently stands at 9020 vehicles as against 7867 vehicles sold last year.
