Hyundai Motor India Announces Price Hike up to 1.2 percent

Hyundai Motor India would be increasing the prices of its products by up to 1.2% across all models, from the 1st of September 2010. This increase is attributed to the increase in input costs. The Verna Transform (read road test here) is the latest offering from the Hyundai stable and the i10 and the i20 have certainly brought in the moolah for the company. Since the rise is across segments, the costs will of course still compete with the other manufacturers but only time will tell if the costing has made any difference to the sale of the car.

Mitsubishi to Hike Outlander Prices

Hindustan Motors-Mitsubishi has announced that it will be raising the prices of the Outlander 2010, from September 1, 2010. The price hike, which will be in the range of 1.5 to 2%, is primarily due to the rising input costs and the appreciation of the Japanese Yen against the Indian Rupee.

Hyundai to Hike Price Feb 1 Onwards

Hyundai Motor India Ltd., the country’s largest car exporter and second largest car manufacturer, has announced a price hike across all its models effective from 1st of February. The price hike which is from 1 to 1.5% and price rise upto Rs. 9000/- has been made owing to the rise in input costs.
