The Panamera S Hybrid continues the success story of Porsche's four door Gran Turismo. The Hybrid car churns out 380 bhp and guzzles only 6.8 l/100 km of fuel based on the NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) resulting in CO2 emissions of just 159 g/km. The hybrid car accelerates from a standing start to 100 kmph in 6.0 seconds reaching a top speed of 270 kmph.

Panamera and Panamera 4 to Debut in Beijing

Porsche Panamera Wins Two Indian Auto Awards

Porsche Panamera, the first four door sports car from the Porsche stable has been awarded the Overdrive “Import Car of the Year” and the luxury sports car brand was adjudged the “Most Sporty Brand” by Auto India magazine. Rod Wallace, Managing Director – Precision Cars India Pvt Ltd., the official Porsche importer for India accepted the awards at glittering award ceremonies.

Porsche Panamera Awarded the Golden Steering Wheel

The Porsche Panamera has been awarded the Golden Steering Wheel as the Best New Car of the Year in the Luxury Performance Class. Porsche Panamera Launched in India

Porsche India has launched the Panamera for the Indian car market. The Panamera is Porsche’s first four-door sedan which went into production as the earlier prototypes like the 1991 Porsche 989 prototype and the 4-door 911-based prototype never went into production.

Porsche Panamera's World debut at Auto Shanghai

Porsche AG, Stuttgart presented the Panamera to the world public today at the 13th Auto Shanghai. The Panamera is making its debut as an eight-cylinder delivering 400 and, respectively, 500 horsepower and with both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive, a six-cylinder gasoline model and a hybrid version following later.

Porsche Panamera now in India

Precision Cars India, the official Porsche importer for India, today revealed the price of the Panamera, the car will be unveiled at the upcoming Shanghai Motor Show 2009. The entry-level Panamera S is powered by a 4.8-litre V8 developing maximum output of 400bhp. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels as an option by Porsche’s seven-speed Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) or double-clutch gearbox. Acceleration to 100km/h comes in 5.4 seconds, top speed is 283km/h.

Porsche Panamera official pictures released

Porsche has disclosed the first official photos of the Panamera in its final look. Porsche’s four-seater stands out clearly as a new member of the Porsche family. The designers of the Panamera have succeeded in positioning this car as a different model while nevertheless retaining the looks of a typical Porsche. In its styling and details, the Panamera follows the design philosophy of the 911 and which was even implemented on the Boxster, Cayman and Cayenne.
