SkodaAuto India announced a strong growth of 53 % in sales for the month of September 2009 over September 2008. SkodaAuto India total sales for September, 2009 stood at 1854 units as against 1213 units in September 2008. The company’s 1854 units sold in September 2009 marked an increase on the 1463 units sold in the month of August 2009.  

Skoda India has unveiled its new Superb for the Indian market. The new Superb is priced at Rs 18.88 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and is powered by 1.8l, 160bhp petrol engine.

Skoda India will launch the new Skoda Superb on the 10th of March. The launch will take place in Delhi. The new Skoda Superb will be equipped with a 1.8l turbo-charged petrol engine and a 2.0l diesel variant.
