Nissan has officially started selling the Terrano in Russia, six months after the model's first launched here in the Indian market. The compact SUV has been launched with prices starting at 677,000 Roubles which accounts to around Rs 11.60 lakh. What's interesting, however, is that the Terrano costs significantly less than the Renault Duster which is also sold in Russia. We say interesting because it’s the Duster which is cheaper of the two here in the Indian market.

The fourth generation Honda City has secured 10,000 bookings since its launch in Malaysia on March 20. This, according to a source in Malaysia, exceeds the previous record of 3,000 bookings set by the fourth generation Honda CR-V.
Just days after the official unveiling of the Mercedes-Benz Concept Coupe SUV at the Beijing Motor Show, the production version of the car has been spotted undergoing trials. Speculated to be called MLC-Class, the crossover will be pitted directly against the BMW X6.
Maruti Suzuki is developing an all-new 800cc diesel engine for its van, the Eeco. The Eeco is currently offered only with a 1.2-litre petrol engine, with an option of a CNG kit. The bigger news though, is that this engine might be also adapted to be used in the recently launched Celerio hatchback.
Times have been good for Lamborghini as it has managed to rack up 1,500 orders for its latest offering, the Huracan LP610-4. This was revealed by the Italian manufacturer at the ongoing 2014 Beijing Motor Show, where the supercar made its Asian debut. Besides the Huracan, Lamborghini also unveiled a special edition of the Aventador, called Aventador LP700-4 Nazionale.
Datsun had earlier announced that they will be launching three models for the Russian market. After the on-DO sedan, which has still not gone on sale in the country, the carmaker has started testing the second car - mi-DO.
Land Rover has made yet another version of the latest-generation Range Rover. This time it’s a long wheelbase model which also happens to be powered by a hybrid power-train. The brand has unveiled this new model at the ongoing Beijing Auto Show.
Toyota has anounced an updated version of the GT86 with minor modifications that is slated to be launched in Europe this summer. The GT86 was introduced in 2012, but the Japanese car maker’s engineering team continued the development work.
Porsche has revealed a new entry-level version of the Macan which will be powered by newly developed four-cylinder engines. The Macan was unveiled at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show in three versions, all powered by V6 engines. This is the first time since 1995 that Porsche will be offering a car with a four-cylinder engine.
The next-generation Ford Ka, which will be launched here with the Figo moniker, has been spotted testing in Brasil. While the Brazilian launch of the car is just around the corner, the Indian audience will have to wait for some time. The Indian-spec Figo sedan concept was first shown to the Indian public at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, in February.
