Mercedes-Benz to launch the G Wagon in India today

The Gelandenwagen (G-Wagon) comes from the G-Class segment of the Mercedes stable, which holds a reputation for the most rugged vehicle segment of the lot. Mercedes Benz sells 640 units in January

Mercedes-Benz India sold 640 units in the month of January 2011. The key growth drivers in January 2011 were the C–Class with 265 units, E-Class with 252 units, the S-Class with 46 units as well as the SUV range comprising the M-Class, GL-Class and the R-Class with 67 units. The German company has always been a favourite among Indians and it shows with the amount of cars the manufacturer sells each month.

Maybach to come to India on the 1st of February

The 1st of February will see Mercedes-Benz launch the Maybach in  the Indian Market. The company is already celebrating 125 years in the car-making business and the launch of the luxury car only adds to its celebrations in India. The first maybach to come to India was in 2004 and it boasted of a Rs. 5 crore price tag. Mercedes Benz India announces a growth of 80 percent in 2010

Mercedes-Benz India announced their year-end sales performance for 2010. The company has sold 5819 cars from Jan – Dec 2010 which is a growth of 80% over 2009. The key growth drivers were the E–Class with 2490 units, C-Class with 2070 units as well as the SUV range comprising the M-Class, GL-Class and the R-Class with 523 units.
