Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 115,433 vehicles in January, 2012 a growth of 5.2 %. This includes 14,386 units for export, a growth of 54.3%. The company had sold a total of 109, 743 units in January 2011.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 92,161 vehicles in December, 2011, which includes 14,686 units for export. The company had sold a total of 99,225 in December 2010.The company was closed for its bi-annual maintenance shutdown for 6 days during December 2011, from 26th December 2011 to 31st December 2011.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 85,565 vehicles in September, 2011. This includes 6,749 units that were exported. The disruption in production owing to the labour issue at the Company’s Manesar plant during September adversely impacted the sales numbers during the month. The Swift, SX4 and A-star are manufactured at the Manesar plant.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 66,504 vehicles in July 2011 in the domestic market compared to 90,114 vehicles last July. While overall automobile market was sluggish, the Company’s domestic sales numbers in July 2011 were impacted also due to the following planned activities:

In C segment, company recorded a growth of 67.4 per cent.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 1,08,006 vehicles in September 2010. This includes 12,858 units for export. This is the highest ever total monthly sales by the company. Previous highest was 1,04,971 units in August 2010.The company had sold a total of 83,306 vehicles in September 2009.

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd reported a 22.63 per cent jump in its sales at 75,109 units in June against 61,247 units last June. Sales in the domestic market grew by 9.51 per cent to 61,773 units in June from 56,411 units in the same month last year, while exports rose by nearly three-fold to 13,336 units compared to 4,836 units in the year-ago period, Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) said in a statement.
