Mahindra had launced its first MPV - the Xylo in January 2009 and now after three years, the vehicle gets a mid-life facelift. The new Xylo gets a new fascia with a very XUV500-like snout which makes it look more contemporary than the current version of the Xylo. The Xylo now gets a floating roof and it gets a crease line that makes the Xylo look more sleek and contemporary. 

Mahindra will unveil the new facelift version of the Xylo on 8th February. The Xylo was launched in January 2009, and this was Mahindra's first MPV project. Mahindra is now giving its first MPV a facelift treatment, as the MPV is now 3 years old.

Mahindra & Mahindra today launched a special limited edition of its MUV Xylo. The car will be priced at Rs 9.06 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the company will only roll out 1000 units of this variant in order to keep with its exclusivity.

Tata Motors launched a new offering in the Winger range, the Tata Winger Platinum in Mumbai. The Tata Winger Platinum is a 7 seater and is designed to offer both luxury and space. The Tata Winger Platinum has been specifically designed to fulfill the needs of passengers who look for carriers but have to depend on Utility vehicles.

Whilst one of Carwale Teams casual drives on the expressway we spotted what we thought a Mahindra Xylo from the front. But when the entire car could be seen we noticed that it was mix-breed of the Mahindra Xylo  and a pick-up. It was pretty clear to us that it was the new Mahindra Xylo pick-up which was doing the rounds of the expressway. Clearly not missing a chance we got off our vehicles and grabbed the opportunity and took a few shots.

The Mahindra Xylo will be featured on NDTV Good Times’s - ‘Highway on my Plate’. Starting October 10, 2010 and spread over six episodes, the show takes its viewers through some of the popular dhabas, restaurants &  highway hotels along the route from Delhi to Khardungla.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. announced that its auto sales for August 2010 stood at 28903 units as against 22413 units during August 2009, an increase of 29%. The company’s domestic sales stand at 27275 units during August 2010, as against 21410 units during August 2009, an increase of 27%. Exports have grown by 62% during the same period.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), recently organised a Xylo Mileage Marathon, an  initiative focused on testing Xylo’s fuel efficiency.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) has launched the Xylo D2 in Delhi, a new variant of its Xylo. Equipped with a new 2.5-litre mDI CRDe engine, the Xylo D2 offers excellent power and torque and a high level of fuel efficiency at a claimed 13kpl. The Xylo D2 is available at Rs 6,30,300 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
