Skoda has launched a tarted up version of the Laura in India called the Laura RS.The RS version comes with a spoiler on the boot lid, Xenon lamps, cornering lights and LED position lamps as well. New 16' wheels have been added to add to the sporty theme of the RS. Apart from this the RS also gets 'RS' badges all around the car. Inside the RS is drapped in Alcantara leather and a multifunction steering wheel as well. Rear AC vents too come with the package.

Skoda launched the Laura RS for Rs 15.19lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). The Laura RS comes with the same 1.8-litre petrol turbocharged engine that powers the Laura TSI.

Skoda India will launch the RS version of the Laura on the 31st of August. The Laura RS will be powered by 1.8-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which will produce 160bhp of power. This is the same engine which is used for the Laura petrol.

The Octavia RS was the first of the Skoda's RS models for the Indian car market. The much spoken about, the Laura RS will enter the Indian market in this August.

Skoda India has now postponed the launch of its much-awaited Laura RS to early 2011, probably March 2011. The Laura RS which will be equipped with the 2.0-litre turbo-charged petrol engine and churns out 200bhp.

Skoda Auto India will launch the Laura RS (Rally Sport) in India. The Czech-based manufacturer had recently face lifted its Laura and bought a new version of its Superb.
