Aston Martin has unveiled the CC100 speedster concept car as a part of centenary celebrations. The two-seat race car has been designed on the British sportscar makers DBR1 Le Mans Race car that won the Iconic French race in 1959. It has a classic shape but has been given modern design cues, engine and underpinnings. 

The facelifted 2014 BMW 5 Series has been revealed. The car has already been spotted quite a few times while testing and features mostly cosmetic changes both inside and outside. The range will now also get a base diesel variant called the 518d.

Skoda may soon stop selling their Fabia hatchback for the Indian market. The company is believed to have taken this decision due to the fact that they have been incurring huge losses on the production of each car. According to some reports, the company has been been losing around Rs 1.5 lakh on each Fabia sold and the main problem they have been facing with the vehicle is the level of localisation in the production process.

Thanks to a host of spy shots as well as brochure leak (that sent the global motoring press into quite tizzy) we already knew what the car looked like both inside and outside. 

Mahindra will be launching their second sub four metre vehicle, the Verito Vibe in Mumbai on June 5. The ‘Verito Vibe’ is indigenously designed and developed by M&M and is underpinned by the Verito platform. We have already seen spy pictures of the undisguised car from Pune and Bengaluru and know what it looks like both inside and outside.  

Fiat is currently performing a feasibility study to check if they can make India an export hub for their Chrysler brand. The move, if it takes place, is a part of their strategy that will help them increase their market share in Asia-Pacific region. 

Mercedes-Benz India has launched the GL Class Launch Edition for Rs 77.50 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The second generation luxury SUV was unveiled in 2012 and features a significant amount of cosmetic changes over the previous generation SUV. The vehicle was launched by Eberhad Kern, CEO of Mercedes-Benz India and German tennis legend Boris Becker at a function in New Delhi.
