Hyundai Motor India Ltd announced the launch of three new variants of the Eon - D-Lite +, Era + and Magna +.  Priced below Rs 3 lakh at 2.98 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) D-Lite + comes loaded with air-conditioning and power steering.

Hyundai Motor India Limited will Global Premiere its Concept Compact MPV, the HND-7 on  the opening day of the 11th Auto Expo starting January 5, 2012. The other major attractions at the Auto Expo will be the 3-door Veloster, a utility coupe and the premium sedan Elantra. The company’s existing line-up from the Eon to the Santa Fe will be present.

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is set to give new Eon owners a year-end top-of-the-line experience with Don2. Hyundai has an in-film advertising with Don2, with Sonata and the Santa Fe prominently featuring in the film, the company announced today. While Shah Rukh Khan, who is also the Hyundai brand ambassador, is driving a Sonata, Priyanka Chopra rides the Santa Fe, in Don2, the action-thriller released today.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. launched the LPG version of the i10. The LPG variant is priced Rs 27,630 more than the existing petrol model. The new LPG version of i10, christened i10 ‘blue drive’ comes with a factory-fitted LPG kit and boasts of features that meet global standards in performance and safety.

Hyundai  has introduced the eco-efficient ‘blue drive’ technology in the Next Gen i10 in its 1.1 Era and 1.1 Magna variants. The ex-showroom Delhi prices for the i10 Era (1.1 ltr) is Rs 416,144 and i10 Magna (1.1 ltr) is priced at Rs 430,659.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) sales for October declined by 7.5% on Y-o-Y basics. While domestic sales dropped by 5%, exports declined by 12.4%. HMIL’s aggregate sales for the month were 48,325 units against 52,217 units in October, 2010. Domestic sales were 33,001 units against 34,720 units in the corresponding month last year; exports were 15,324 units against 17,497 units in October 2010.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) announced the commencement of bookings of its soon to be launched new compact car – EON. The bookings will open from October 1, 2011.‘Eon’ – means eternity.  The car will be manufactured in India at Hyundai Motor India’s manufacturing facility located at Sriperumbudur near Chennai.
