Hindustan Motors Ltd. today launched its second round of West Bengal road show to showcase its recently launched small commercial vehicle Veer along with the Ambassador and light commercial vehicle XD Plus.

Hindustan Motors Ltd. (HM) launched VEER, a 0.8-tonne (800 kg) small commercial vehicle (SCV) here today, kick-starting  the company’s plans to introduce more vehicles in the current financial year. Notably, the company’s Chairman, Mr. C K Birla, had announced the imminent launch of a slew of new vehicles at HM’s annual general meeting held here on August 4.

Hindustan Motors Ltd. is all set to launch a range of new vehicle models and variants in the current financial year, with the first product scheduled to be introduced soon. The announcement was made by Mr. C K Birla, Chairman of the multi-billion dollar global Group, at HM’s 69th annual general meeting here today.

Hindustan Motors Ltd. launched road shows that shall cover West Bengal, Assam, Orissa and Bihar, signaling the imminent launch of new vehicles. More road shows will be launched soon in Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Maharashtra, central and north India.

Hindustan Motors plans to launch a new ‘niche’ model in its Mitsubishi line-up. This ‘niche’ car is believed to be a James-Bond like car and HM deem it could fire up the portfolio of the Mitsubishi in India.
