With Christmas around the corner and the 2012 just weeks away, Fiat is offering discounts massive discounts on the Linea and the Grande Punto. On the 3rd of January, Fiat is unveiling the 2012 models of the Grande Punto and the Linea.

Fiat India Automobiles Limited announced its intent to increase its focus on exports under which they have exported the Fiat Linea to Sri Lanka. Fiat's diesel for the price of petrol scheme is a lucky draw scheme wherein a Fiat Grande Punto or Linea buyer will get upgraded from petrol version to the diesel, or else the diesel buyer will get the car at the price of the petrol variant.

Fiat India Automobiles Ltd launches special affinity programs for health care professionals. The program will commence from august to september when professional can claim the permissible depreciation. Under this program healthcare professionals can enjoy an total benefit of Rs. 12,000/- on the Linea & Rs.9,000/- on the Punto and can also participate in the ongoing promotions. This program also includes attractive exchange package where in the old car value would be set off against the purchase of new cars.

The Linea, Grande Punto and 500 are Fiat's current offerings to the Indian car market. The Italian manufacturer has plans to introduce a hatchback in a segment which is notch below the Grande Punto.

Fiat has always shared a large fan base in India and the response to the Punto and the Linea speak volumes of the company’s success here. Fiat now plans to bring a small car in the Indian market and we expect it to be the Palio. The Palio has always had a special place in the hearts of Fiat car lovers and enthusiasts alike.

Fiat India Automobiles Ltd. welcomed a host of guests from around the country as they gathered in Pune to drive down their favourite Fiat cars to the Fiat factory in Ranjangaon. 60 Fiat cars came together from cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Trivandrum and Pune. The guest list consisted of Fiat enthusiasts and owners of Fiat cars. Around 125 people made their way early morning to Pune after which the convoy of enthusiasts which included Rajeev Kapoor, President and CEO, Fiat India Automobiles, headed off to Fiat’s Ranjangaon plant. 

FIAT India Automobiles Ltd today rolled out the 200000th powertrain engine from its Ranjangaon plant in Pune. The state-of-the-art facility at Ranjangaon plant started manufacturing power trains in July, 2008.  FIAT’s facility at Ranjangaon is among largest powertrains manufacturing plants of Fiat anywhere in the world. The plant was built to manufacture engines for Tata and Fiat cars as well as for exporting engines to other Fiat facilities across Europe.  

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd., showcased the Etios which turned out to be a headturner at the Auto Expo held in New Delhi in January 2010. While the car was not a production model, people at the Expo got a fairly clear picture of what the car would look like once it arrived and now Toyota Kirloskar Motors is all set to unveil the Etios on the 1st of December this year.

Skoda Auto India will soon be launching a sedan, for the time being named as SK215, somewhere in the last quarter of 2011. Skodas latest offering was the facelifted Fabia and later on this year the Yeti too will find a place in the SUV segment. The SK215 is a sedan and will be based on the Fabia platform.
