Shell blends advanced biofuel into Scuderia Ferrari race fuel at South Korea Grand Prix

Shell announced that it has blended a second advanced biofuel into fuel supplied to Scuderia Ferrari for the last three races of the 2010 Formula One championship. Scuderia Ferrari will use a fuel containing 'biogasoline', a biofuel converted directly from plant sugars. The 'biogasoline' has been produced by Shell’s technology partner Virent at its facility in Madison Wisconsin, USA.

Mercedes-Benz Launches The SLS AMG in India

Mercedes-Benz today launched its flagship super sports car for the Indian market: the SLS AMG. Speaking on the occassion, CEO of Mercedes-AMG GmbH, Mr. Ola Kaellenius, encapsulated his aspirations for the product, “Today India joins the elite ranks of the first few RHD markets globally to launch this mean machine. Given the strong demand for this car, I assure you that it is really a very strong and positive statement and shows the esteem that India as a market holds for us.”

Red Bull Cans Used to Build Up a Formula 1 car

Schumacher Will Not Return to Formula 1

ING to quit F1

ING to cut back sponsorship

Renault F1’s title sponsor ING has decided to cut back its sponsorship from Formula 1 very soon. The Dutch-based company has predicted to make a loss of around 1 billion Euros for the 2008 financial year.

Williams FW31 debuts on track

Ranstad extends its contract with Williams F1

The AT&T Williams team today confirmed that it had entered into an extended and increased sponsorship agreement with Randstad Holding nv. Randstad has been a team sponsor since 2006. Following agreement to enter into a three year partnership with Williams F1 in January 2007.
