The Jetta is among the most successful car models Volkswagen has made and sold so far, with over 14 million units shipped since the launch of the original model in the year 1979. Last year alone, the brand delivered 925,000 units worldwide. Now, at the upcoming New York Auto Show, Volkswagen is set to present the 2015 version with a few minor updates to rejuvenate the Jetta brand.
This GL63 AMG launch by Mercedes will see the German automaker introduce to India its fifth product from the AMG line-up. Gaurav Gill won the Vinz Rally of Whangarei, New Zealand, driving for team MRF in his Skoda Fabia S2000. This was the inaugural round of the FIA Asia Pacific Rally Championship (APRC). Gill, also the 2013 APRC champion, had said before the season began that he will defend his title this year.
The US-spec Honda Fit/Jazz’s (for the Indian market) price and feature list have been released by the Japanese automaker. The American market will get the premium hatchback in three variants, one petrol engine and two transmission options. The Jazz is one of Honda’s global cars and so the version sold in the US is very similar to the one we will get in India later this year.

Toyota Kirloskar India has announced to stay away from the small car segment and concentrate on only big cars like the Innova and Corollas. This is a very bold decision taken by the company when 50 per cent of the total cars sales in India is contributed to by the small car segment.
