Nissan India has found its six winners of the GT Academy 2015 competition. After 10,000 contestants who participated in this event, 20 made it to the national finals in Chennai. The finals that were hosted over two days at Chennai’s MMSC racetrack saw the top 20 qualifiers from online and live qualification events compete for the top spots.
Mercedes-Benz has sold 6659 units in the period January to June 2015 as compared to 4717 units in the corresponding period last year recording a growth of 41 per cent. This is an all-time high for the German automaker and is quite close to their total sales of 7138 units for 2012.
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced that the domestic sales figures of the company grew by 8.3 per cent in June 2015 as compared to the corresponding period in 2014. Strong sales have helped Hyundai retain its position as the country’s second largest car manufacturer, as well as the top exporter of passenger vehicles.
