Bentley Motors unveiled the new Continental GTC for the first time in Qatar at the Qatar International Motor Show, Doha. The all new Bentley GTC Convertible features an even more spacious and sumptuous hand-crafted cabin, with soft-touch leather hides, an extensive range of wood veneers, cool-touch metals and deep-pile carpets, all produced by Bentley’s talented craftsmen and women. Now with a more powerful 575bhp 6.0-litre, twin-turbocharged W12 engine as well as a new QuickShift transmission, enabling faster gear changes than ever before.

Two new Bentley Continental V8 models will be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on 9th January 2012. This new Bentley V8 engine delivers maximum power of 507bhp and an extraordinary peak torque of 660Nm. Combined with a new close-ratio 8-speed automatic transmission, this translates into a sub-5 second acceleration time for the 0-100kmph sprint and a top speed of over 180mph (290km/h).

Exclusive Motors Pvt. Ltd. unveiled the New Bentley Continental GT at their showroom in New Delhi. The new Continental GT 4-seat coupe builds on the success of its iconic predecessor and is priced at Rs 1.9 crore (ex showroom Delhi, subject to exchange rate and options).

Bentley has unveiled the new Touring Bentley Continental Flying Star at the Geneva Motor Show. The new car is a “shooting brake” version of the 2 door coupe. The “shooting brake” version is basically a 2 door coupe converted into a square back hatch profile.

The giant American auto makers like GM and Daimler, and Japanese manufacturers like Honda, and Nissan didn’t participate in this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show. The main highlights of this event were the Europe-based manufacturers with many of them going green.

Bentley Motors unveiled the Mulsanne at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance in Monterey, California.The Mulsanne is inspired by the company founder W.O. Bentley’s crowning achievement in 1930, the 8-litre.  

Luxury cars like the BMWs, the Mercs, the Honda CR-V and other luxury imported car models will be imported once the order is placed. The fluctuating currency and unstable world markets being the reason for switching to this decision.

The latest Bentley to sport the ‘T’ legend is the Azure T, whose twin-turbocharged V8 engine produces 500bhp and 1000Nm of torque – an 11 per cent increase in power and a 14 per cent increase in torque over its 450bhp/875Nm Azure. Over 90 per cent of that torque is available between 1800 and 3800rpm.
