The 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is expected to use the 1.6L dCi Renault engine. This mill produces 130bhp and 320Nm of torque.It is currently offered on top-end variant of the Megane hatchback, the Scenic MPV, the Grand Scenic MPV and the Nissan Qashqai crossover. These are all vehicles manufactured by the Renault-Nissan alliance but sold mainly in the European market. This will be the second Renault engine to power the Mercedes-Benz models with the European spec A 180 CDI already using the 1.5-liter diesel engine from Renault.
