Hike in Excise Duty will Lead to Increase in Vehicle Price: Industry

The Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee's 2010-11 budget has led to mixed reactions from the industry. Earlier in the day, the minister had announced a 2% hike in excise duty on large cars, SUVs and multi utility vehicles taking the excise duty from 8% to 10%.

Min of 20kms to be Constructed Everyday: FM

The Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee just laid out a plan in his Budget for 2010-11 that construction of national highways will be done on a serious note and that there would be minimum of 20kms of road  constructed every day. Road development allocation has been hiked to Rs 19,894 cr.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Inks MoU with SBH for Auto Loans
