Audi AG achieves its highest sales ever

AUDI AG sold around 1,302,650 cars in 2011 its previous sales record from one year earlier by more than 210,200 units. The brand’s strong growth spanned all regions of the world: China became Audi’s biggest single market for the first time ever, with 313,036 vehicles delivered. In Europe, the Ingolstadt-based brand increased its unit sales by 12.1 percent to around 726,300 cars; it also achieved a growth rate well into double figures in the United States. Audi ended the past year with a new sales record in more than 50 markets.

Audi sales grow in November

Audi continued its performance in India this year with a sale of 5117 cars from January – November 2011, thus, surpassing its annual sales target for the year in first eleven months – a growth of 83 percent (January – November 2010: 2791 cars). The luxury carmaker recorded sales of 425 cars in November 2011, a 66 percent growth over the same period last year (November 2010: 256 cars).

Audi surpasses its 2010 annual sales in July

Audi India surpassed its annual sales of 3003 cars for 2010 in the first seven months of 2011 and recorded a 93 percent growth from Jan – July 2011 with a sale of 3,145 cars (1,626 cars: Jan – July 2010). In July 2011, the company sold 343 cars – a growth of 52 percent over the same period last year (226 cars: July 2010). With this performance Audi is confident of achieving its retail sales target of 5000 cars by the end of 2011.

Audi's sales grow by 75% in June 2011

Audi posted a solid half yearly sales performance with 2802 cars delivered in India from January - June 2011, marginally short of its 2010 annual sale of 3003 cars, a growth of 100 percent over the same period last year (Jan – June 2010: 1400 cars).  The luxury carmaker’s sale in June 2011 stood at 408 cars, a growth of 75 percent. (June 2010: 233 cars)

Audi India clocked sales of 480 units in January 2011, thereby increasing their growth by 57% as compared to the same period last year(306 units- Jan 2010). 2011 will see Audi India announcing many initiatives on product and network expansion.

Audi India registers 47 percent growth in September 2010

Audi registered a sale of 302 cars in September 2010, a 47% growth over its September 2009 sales (205 cars).  The company has sold 2178 cars from January – September 2010, recording a growth of 63 percent over the same period in 2009 (1333 cars, January – September 2009).

Audi Registers A Sales Growth Of 71%

Audi has continued its positive growth in 2010 with a growth of 69% in April 2010. Audi India's countrywide vehicle sales in April this year grew to 189 units as compared to 112 units sold in April 2009.

Audi India’s record sales in 2008

Audi India's vehicle sales volume countrywide grew by 201 percent to 1,050 cars as compared to 349 units in 2007. In the last quarter has been impressive for Audi India as sales grew by 229 percent to 273 units as compared to 83 units in 2007. The month of December saw an increase of 145 percent to 76 cars as compared to 31 cars in December 2007.
