Audi announced the launch of a new Audi Q5 2.0 TDI quattro at an attractive priceos Rs 3,513,000 (ex-showroom Maharashtra) and will be available in showrooms from October 2011. The new Audi Q5 2.0 TDI q comes equipped with 17” alloy wheels, Xenon plus headlights including LED daytime running lights, leather / leatherette interiors with wood inlays, and a multifunctional 4-spoke leather steering wheel.

Audi today announced the launch of the Audi Q5 2.0 TDI quattro luxury SUV in India. The new Audi Q5 2.0 TDI q is priced at Rs. 3,905,000 (ex-showroom Maharashtra). The new 2.0 TDI q engine would be available as CKD. Deliveries to customers will begin in April 2011.

The Volkswagen Group comprising of the three brands- Audi, Skoda and Volkswagen achieved an extraordinary growth in deliveries to customers of 131.9% in the period January to September 2010. The three brands together delivered a total of 32,359 vehicles to customers in the first nine months of 2010 as compared to 13,956 cars sold from January to September 2009.

Audi announced the opening of its new showroom in Jaipur. The Audi Jaipur showroom was inaugurated by Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India, Dayanidhi Kasliwal, Director, Audi Jaipur and Aditya Kasliwal, Managing Director, Audi Jaipur.  "I am delighted to announce the opening of our new showroom in Jaipur - the capital of royalty and luxury. Rajasthan, the land of Maharajas, has been setting the standards for luxury in India for centuries. Audi, announced the opening of its new showroom in Mumbai. The Audi Mumbai West showroom was inaugurated by Andre Konsbruck, Executive Director Region Overseas, AUDI AG, Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India and Anand Rao, Managing Director, Audi Mumbai West. Also present on the occasion was leading actor, Bipasha Basu- owner of the Audi Q7.

Audi sold 1876 cars from January – August 2010 and has surpassed its last year’s annual sales of 1658 cars sold. The company has recorded a growth of 66 % over the same period in 2009 which was 1128 units. Audi India recorded sales of 250 cars in August 2010, a 46 % growth over August 2009 sales of 171 units.

Audi announced the opening of its  state-of-the-art showroom and service facility in Bengaluru. The dealership was inaugurated by Michael Perschke, Head - Audi India, Shamit Bhartia, Director- Audi Bengaluru (Jubilant Motors Private Limited) and K. Subramanian, Chief Executive Officer - Audi Bengaluru (Jubilant Motors Private Limited). "I am delighted to announce the opening of our upgraded facility in Bengaluru based on the global Audi Terminal concept. This concept is unique to Audi, truly reflects our key brand values of sportiness and progressiveness. Audi Bengaluru, mirrors this ideology and will ensure that our customers in the region will continue to experience unmatched levels of luxury,” said Michael Perschke, Head - Audi India.

Audi has started assembly of the Q5 model in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. In the future, up to 1,500 units of the Q5 will run off the assembly line there each year for the Indian market.

Audi India has announced its state-of-the-art service facility in Delhi that has the capability of repairing aluminum and steel. It is located at Mathura Road and is spread over 20,000 square feet.
