Audi announced the launch the TT in India. This sports coupé is priced at INR 48, 36, 000 (ex-showroom Maharashtra) and will be available at Audi dealerships from June 2012. The Audi TT was unveiled by Mr. Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India. 

Audi has organized a unique drive experience for its customers across various cities in India. The ‘Audi R-Drive’, is a unique initiative which will give participants a chance to experience the award winning Audi R8 V10 Spyder and the Audi RS5.

The Volkswagen Group clocked a growth of 109.3% in sales from January to December 2011. The three brands – Audi, Škoda and Volkswagen together delivered a total of 1,11,623 vehicles to customers in 2011 as compared to 53,341 cars in 2010.

Audi continued its performance in India this year with a sale of 5117 cars from January – November 2011, thus, surpassing its annual sales target for the year in first eleven months – a growth of 83 percent (January – November 2010: 2791 cars). The luxury carmaker recorded sales of 425 cars in November 2011, a 66 percent growth over the same period last year (November 2010: 256 cars). 

Audi posted a solid performance in September 2011 with a sale of 555 cars, thus recording a growth of 84 percent (September 2010: 302 cars). The luxury carmaker’s sales figure from January to September 2011 (YTD) stood at 4210 cars, a growth of 93 percent over the same period last year (January – September 2010: 2178 cars).

Audi announced the launch of the new Audi A6 2.0 TDI in India. Audi India offers a total of four petrol and diesel engines. Priced at Rs 37,70,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) Audi A6 2.0 TDI will be available at Audi dealerships from October 2011. 

Audi recorded yet another impressive performance with a sale of 510 cars in August 2011 (August 2010: 250 cars). For the period January – August 2011, the company sold 3655 cars, a growth of 95 percent over the same period last year (Jan – Aug 2010: 1876 cars).

Audi announced the launch of a new Audi Q5 2.0 TDI quattro at an attractive priceos Rs 3,513,000 (ex-showroom Maharashtra) and will be available in showrooms from October 2011. The new Audi Q5 2.0 TDI q comes equipped with 17” alloy wheels, Xenon plus headlights including LED daytime running lights, leather / leatherette interiors with wood inlays, and a multifunctional 4-spoke leather steering wheel.

Audi India surpassed its annual sales of 3003 cars for 2010 in the first seven months of 2011 and recorded a 93 percent growth from Jan – July 2011 with a sale of 3,145 cars (1,626 cars: Jan – July 2010). In July 2011, the company sold 343 cars – a growth of 52 percent over the same period last year (226 cars: July 2010). With this performance Audi is confident of achieving its retail sales target of 5000 cars by the end of 2011.

Audi has introduced the top version of its flagship model - the new Audi A8 L W12 quattro. Equipped with a powerful 6.3 FSI petrol engine, the newest variant of Audi’s flagship sets new standards of luxury, dynamism and efficiency, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds to effortlessly reach its governed top speed of 250 km/h. The new Audi A8 L W12 will be priced at INR 12,656,000(ex showroom Maharashtra).
