Maruti Suzuki sells 1,11,645 units in February

Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 1,11,645 vehicles in February 2011 which includes 10,102 units of exports. The company had sold a total of 96,650 vehicles in February 2010. In February 2011, the company sold 1,01,543 units in the domestic market. Sales were up 19.4% in A2 and 27 per cent in A3 segment. In C segment, company recorded a growth of 26.9%.

Maruti Suzuki gears up for another great year in the Indian Automotive Industry

Maruti Suzuki India Limited announced their financial results for the third quarter of 2010-11 (October- December 2010) today. The Company achieved Net Sales (net of excise) of Rs 92,767 million during the third quarter of 2010-11, a growth of 26.5 per cent over the same period last year. The Net sales in Quarter 2 (July-September 2010) was Rs. 89,371 million.

Maruti Suzuki India Sales Grow by 23.6 percent this August

Maruti Suzuki India Limited, sold a total of 104,791 vehicles in August 2010, growing 23.6 per cent in the month. This includes exports of 12,117 units. This is the highest ever monthly sales recorded by the company. The company had sold a total of 84,808 vehicles in August 2009.

Maruti Suzuki Halts Delivery of CNG Variants in Some Cities

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. who have recently launched 5 CNG powered variants of their most popular cars namely the Alto, Wagon R, Estilo, Eeco and SX4 have just hit a road block! We have been told by our sources in Mumbai that although dealers have the vehicles in stock, they have been requested by Maruti Suzuki India Limited to delay delivery  to the customer of these factory fitted CNG variants. The reason for this, we are told, is the incompatibility of the CNG filling nozzle installed on these CNG variants to the dispenser nozzles (at filling stations) available across India.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited today unveiled its flagship CNG engine technology, ‘intelligent-Gas Port Injection’ or i-GPI on five popular models. With Independence Day around the corner, Maruti Suzuki India Limited sure has taken a giant leap to spread the message of 'Go Green' in the country. The CNG vehicles were unveiled by Mr. Jairam Ramesh, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) Environment and Forests. The models include the Maruti Suzuki SX4, Eeco, WagonR, Estilo and Alto and are being launched in Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Gujrat.

Maruti Suzuki Launches the New Alto K10

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. has launched the much awaited small car the Alto K10. The Alto K10 will be available in two trims – the LXi and the VXi and will boast of a refined and fuel efficient 67bhp, 998cc, three cylinder engine that will give fuel economy figures of 20.2 kilometers to the litre, according to the company. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. claims that the car goes form 0-100 kmph in 13.3 seconds.

Maruti Suzuki To Launch the Alto K10 (Now Launched!)

Update: New Maruti Alto K10 is launched now. The all new facelifted Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is finally here! The car will be simultaneously launched on the 4th of August 2010 in three metros namely Mumbai, Bengaluru and New Delhi. The car will be unveiled real-time via satellite in the three cities. CarWale got you the exclusive pictures of the car and now on the eve of its launch, we tell you what the car is like inside-out. We have learnt that the car will be available in two trim levels - the Lxi and the Vxi. Both the variants are equipped with electric assist power steering. Maruti To Launch New Alto - Exclusive Pictures! (Now Launched)

Update: New Maruti Alto K10 is launched now. Maruti Suzkui India Ltd is all set to launch a new Alto in the next few days. As you can see from these exclusive pictures, the new Alto has a brand new tailgate flanked by rather shapely tail lamps. The rear of the car looks far more grown up than before thanks to the fact that the tailgate now sports the numberplate slot and there's a new rear bumper too. There's now the visual effect of the car being wider thanks to these simple cosmetic design tricks.The front has more shapely headlights which echo the tail lamp design theme as well as a new grill, bonnet and bumper. The rear windscreen is also Micra-esque and the car has a slight dash of retro with the tail lamps at the rear. This is the first real major facelift on the Alto since it was introduced a decade ago in India which sports so many new sheet metal and plastic parts.
