The ARAI claimed mileage for the Yeti 4x2 is 17.72kmpl.

Škoda Auto India flagged off day one of the Yeti performance drive, the first of its kind in Mumbai. The first day of the drive drew enormous response from the customers giving them a unique opportunity to experience the features of the award winning Škoda Yeti. A ride through the five point obstacle course demonstrated the ease with which the Škoda Yeti took on challenging terrains.

The first phase of the drive showcased the ease of maneuvering the car through high traffic zone and parktronic feature clearly demonstrated Yeti’s ability to take on typical challenges of urban India. The second phase of drive was purely to get an off road feel with the hill climb and descent along with the feel of driving over rough roads.

The event started from Chennai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Ahmadabad & Hyderabad would extend to other markets including-, Ludhiana with multiple set ups per city.

The Škoda Yeti is powered by a 2.0 Litre TDI CR engine, which generates maximum power of 140 bhp at 4200 rpm. The fully synchronized six-speed manual transmission gives complete power and control to the driver. The high-pressure direct injection technology system promises optimized performance, great mileage of 17.67Kmph as per ARAI, combined with excellent. Currently the most sought after SUV’s of the year, the Yeti has bagged 9 prestigious automotive awards.

The Superb, the Laura, the Fabia and now the Yeti have already shared a great success in the Indian Market and with the new cars we hope that Škoda continues this equation in the coming year.

A few months back, we had driven the Skoda Yeti and we liked the SUV. Considering this pricing, the Yeti with all the bells and whistles, Skoda’s build quality, styling and practicality and off-roading capability is a great deal for every buck. The Skoda badge is considered to be a prestigious one in the Indian car market and there's no doubt that the Yeti will only add to Skoda's brand image in India. Being a compact SUV, the Yeti is easy to drive in city and more importantly to park as well. Skoda India seems all set to dig in its foot deeper and increase their presence in the car market with Yeti’s launch. We think the Yeti will be money well spent and makes an excellent case for itself, not just as the capable lifestyle SUV that it is, but as an everyday car that does it all!
