The TT Coupé has grown by nearly two centimeters and now measures 4,187 millimeters in length, 1,842 millimeters in width and height of 1,353 millimeters. The wheelbase measures 2,468 millimeters.

Audi offers the TT Coupé in India with 2.0 TFSI engine. New to the TT is the 2.0 TFSI with 211bhp and 350Nm of torque at 1600-4200rpm. The quattro permanent all-wheel drive system is standard for the 2.0 TFSI with the S tronic.

Spread over total area of 18,000 sq. ft. the showroom has a honeycomb aluminium facade on the exterior. With a display area that can accommodate 12 Audi cars, the showroom will display the entire model range of Audi cars available in India. The showroom will also house an Audi Shop and the Audi Exclusive Elements, where customers can order customised products and purchase a variety of Audi branded merchandise.

The sporty SUV is the third Audi model after the A4 and A6 to be produced in India, increasing the production volume of the company in India this year to more than 2,400 units, compared with 732 vehicles in the preceding year. Altogether Audi has produced around 2,000 cars in India since the start of production in September 2007. By 2015 up to 6,000 units will be rolling off the line each year.

"The production of the Q5 is part of our long-term growth strategy in India" says Frank Dreves, Audi Board Member for Production: "The Indian market for automobiles will grow very rapidly, and the Q5 is the right automobile at the right time."

Last year, Audi significantly expanded its line-up of engines for the models produced at the Aurangabad site: The Audi A6 sedan has been available with a 3.0 TFSI gasoline engine since March 2009, and before then customers could already choose between the 2.8 FSI, the 2.7 TDI and the 3.0 TDI.

In July, an entry-level version of the A4 sedan with a 1.8 liter TFSI engine was introduced. It rounds out the previous engine line-up, which for the A4 also includes a 2.0 TDI and a 2.0 TFSI unit. Audi is currently offering the Q5 with a 2.0 TFSI and the 3.0 TDI engines. Further efficient engines will follow shortly.

In addition to the locally produced Q5, A4 and A6 models, Audi also offers its Indian customers the Audi A8, Q7 and TT, as well as the R8 supercar. The entire Audi model range is available across the country.

The new service facility has the capability to service 16 cars daily and has an additional eight bays for accidental care. This is a step in the right direction, considering that Audi India's sales have grown at an impressive rate - a 64 percent increase for the period of January to October this year, as compared to last year's figures. Audi India has recorded strong growth all year around in spite of the difficult market conditions. The year-to-date growth stood at an impressive 72 percent (Jan-Sep 2009: 1,333 cars; Jan-Sep 2008: 777 cars). Audi India has already surpassed last year’s annual sales of 1,050 cars by recording a total of 1,128 car sales in the period of January to August 2009.

The entire Audi model range, comprising the new Audi Q7, the Audi Q5, the new Audi A6, the Audi A8, the Audi A4, the Audi TT and the Audi R8, is available at 12 dealerships across the country: in Delhi, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata and Kochi.
