Mahindra Adventure announces Season 5 Calendar open

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.) has announced their Mahindra Adventure Calendar for Season 5. The company will organise various events this year through this unique concept to showcase the tough nature of Mahindra vehicles.

Mahindra Adventure aims to unleash its spirit of adventure throughout 2016 and with a step in that direction has arranged a series of events. These include events like the Great Escape, New Multi-Day Escape, Authentic North East, Spiti Escape, Monastery Escape, Royal Escape, Tri- Nation Escape, Authentic Goa, Wild Escape etc.

The Great Escape is an off-roading event organised since 1996 and will be conducted at two new locations, Chennai and Nagpur, apart from the previous eight locations across India. Winners from these different locations will get to compete at the Mahindra Adventure Off-Roading Trophy.

New Multi-Day Escape is similar to the Super South Drive, which involves a drive through southern India. Other drives like Authentic North East (10 days) and Spiti Escape (7 days), which were added last year, will continue along with the classics like Monastery Escape (Leg 1; Delhi- Manali-Jispa-Sarchu-Leh–Srinagar and Leg 2; Srinagar-Leh-Sarchu-Jispa-Manali-Delhi, for 10 days each). Then there is Royal Escape, which is a 6-day expedition celebrating the new year in Rajasthan. Other events include Tri- Nation Escape (Bhutan, India and Nepal – 14 days), Authentic Goa (The real Goa in 4 days) and Wild Escape (4-day foray into wildlife sanctuaries of Central India).

In addition, Mahindra Challenges like Spice Challenge (4 days) and Monsoon Challenge (3 days) are also planned. These are TSD (Time Speed Distance) rallies in tune with the company’s promise of providing adrenalin pumping challenges and promoting motorsport at the grass-roots level.

Mahindra Adventure will also conduct the off-road training programmes at their academy in Igatpuri, Maharashtra. Through this program they will promote the tough and rugged DNA of Mahindra vehicles while imparting knowledge on how to drive the vehicles in rough terrains. Off-road enthusiasts will get to know the basics of off-roading and hands-on experience of the technical skills through these batches that will be held every month.

Mahindra Adventure functions as an umbrella brand with a series of adventure and motor sports events under it. All these multi-day escapes celebrate incredible India and the sub-continent by traversing exotic and unexplored locations, thereby bringing the concept of ‘Adventure/Driving experience’ to a larger audience.
