The compact crossover segment is a busy little field with the arrival of newer rivals from a variety of automakers. After the launch of the Renault Duster, Ford EcoSport, Honda Vezel and the likes, it’s the turn of the Korean automaker Hyundai to make an entry into this hotly contested segment with the new ix25.
Fiat has announced that the Punto Evo will be officially launched tomorrow, at an event in Delhi. The unveiling at Delhi will be followed by regional launches of the hatchback across major cities in the country. As the Punto Evo’s despatch to dealerships had commenced a while ago, deliveries of the car are expected to start immediately after its launch.

Skoda has announced the extension of their 24/7 roadside assistance program across its entire model range starting from August 1. The service will be available for a period of two years and will benefit customers who are not covered under standard Road Side Assistance program. It will also be available to customers who want to extend their coverage of this service.

Patent drawings of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class have been leaked ahead of its debut in 2015. The drawings, which have been registred with the US Patent and Trademarke office, confirm the German automaker’s plans to expand the S-Class range across a large number of vehicles.
Riding on the success of the Amaze, City and the recently launched Mobilio, Honda has overtaken Mahindra as the country’s third largest car manufacturer. Sales numbers of the Japanese manufacturer grew by more than 40 per cent as the company sold 15,709 vehicles in July 2014 as compared to the corresponding period in 2013.
Tata Motors sold 39,623 units including passenger and commercial vehicles in July 2014 when they had sold 51,549 cars in the same month last year. This shows a decline of 23 per cent in overall sales.
