While BMW is still a long way from putting the next-generation 7 Series on sale, a prototype model of the car has been spotted on test again and this time, on a suburban street. The brand has been testing the new 7 Series for quite some time now, with earlier spy shots coming from Sweden during the vehicle’s winter testing.

Japanese automaker Isuzu may not have the strongest product portfolio in the Indian market yet, but that hasn’t stopped it from challenging the world’s largest car brand, Toyota. In about two years’ time, Isuzu is expected to bring out a new seven-seater MPV which will take on the popular Toyota Innova.
Mahindra’s new Scorpio (codenamed W105) might be launched in a few days. A source mentions that about 100 units have been rolling out of the assembly line since August 1. The company wants to ensure that it has enough units of the SUV before its launch.
Suzuki has released an official image of its upcoming crossover and has named it Vitara. The crossover might be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October, 2014. The production model of the Vitara is based on the iV-4 concept first shown at the Frankfurt motor show in 2013.

The Datsun mi-DO hatchback has been launched at the 2014 Moscow Automobile Salon. Unveiled in April, this year, this is the second Russia specific model after the on-DO sedan and is based on the Lada Kalina hatchback.
The crackdown by the Competition Commission of India, has ruffled a lot feathers. Some of the car manufacturers in receipt of the penalty are in no mood to go down without a fight and Maruti Suzuki is one of them. The company has decided to challenge the CCI penalty.
