Around six years after BMW unveiled the production X6 model at the 2008 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the German manufacturer has now taken the wraps off the second-generation ‘Sports Activity Vehicle’. A slew of images leaked by a website prompted the German manufacturer to officially reveal the car, ahead of its public debut at the 2014 Moscow Motor Show. The car will go on sale in the UK market around December with a base price of GBP 51,510 (Rs 51.24 lakh).

It has been speculated that the car will be launched in India around July.
Nissan has more than doubled its domestic sales figures by registering a 141 per cent jump in May 2014, as compared to the same period, last month. Nissan India sold 5,021 vehicles in the last month as compared to 2,080 units it managed in May 2013.
