Jaguar Land Rover, today, announced the opening of a new showroom in Nagpur, Maharashtra. With this new showroom the company has expanded its distribution network to 21 outlets in 19 cities in the country. The company had in March opened a new dealership in Orissa.

All has not been well for Japanese car manufacturer Toyota lately. The company, on Wednesday, issued a global recall for 2.27 million vehicles over an airbag system defect that could cause fires. The announcement covered 20 models, including the Corolla sedan, Yaris subcompact and Noah minivan.
Following two consecutive months of drop, domestic car sales in India grew by 3.08 per cent in May 2014. According to figures released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), domestic car sales in July stood at 1,48,577 units as against 1,44,132 units in the same month last year. The total sales figure translates to a growth of 3.08 per cent.

A completely unmasked test mule of the Audi A3 has been spotted once again. Caught testing around Juhu in Mumbai, the car was a petrol-powered 1.8 T variant with a 1.8-litre TFSI engine. The A3 sedan made its global debut at the 2013 New York Auto Show and is expected to go on sale in India in August.
