Maruti Suzuki may launch two new cars for the Indian market within the next one year. These cars will replace their current slowest sellers which are believed to be the Estilo, A-Star and the SX4. While the former duo will replaced by one car (codenamed YL7), the latter will be replaced by the new SX4 that was unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March. 

Lamborghini has begun its 50th anniversary grand tour across Italy. The Italian supercar maker had announced the tour during the 2012 Pebble beach Concourse. It began on the 8th of May from Piazza Castello in Milan with over 350 cars and a total of 700 participants. 

Chevrolet will launch their Enjoy MPV for the Indian market at an event in Mumbai tomorrow. The seven-seater MPV was unveiled during the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo as a concept vehicle and Chevrolet had confirmed at that time that it would bring the vehicle to Indian market in the next one year. The Enjoy is based on the Chinese made Wuling CN-100 van, a product of Sail (GM’s Chinese partner) and Wuling Motors.

Volkswagen has showcased their new concept car, the Design Vision GTI at the annual Worthersee festival in Reifnitz, Austria. This machine has been based on seventh-generation Golf GTI that was launched last year and has been created especially for the event. However, this is not the first time that VW has built an insanely powerful Golf. Around five to six years ago, they had built a one off Golf with a 6.0-litre biturbo W12 engine that produced a whopping 650PS and 750Nm of torque. 

Maruti Suzuki will soon launch a special edition of the Ertiga MPV called the Feliz. The car has been created to celebrate the first anniversary of the Ertiga in the Indian market and features mainly cosmetic changes both inside and outside and will be available only on the VXi and VDi trim levels. 

The Ssangyong Actyon Sports dual cab pick-up truck has been spotted testing in India by the team at Topgear Malyalam. Mahindra might be planning to launch this car which falls under the lifestyle pick-up category. The Indian SUV major had displayed this car during the 2012 Auto Expo but was tight lipped about its plans to launch in India. 

Porsche has unveiled the 2014 911 Turbo and the Turbo S. The 911 range completes 40 this year and still follows the same four decade old formula but continues to be listed among the top ten desirable vehicles in the world of rear-wheel drive cars. The 2014 cars feature changes both inside and outside and have been fitted with a whole load of new technology.  

BMW has launched the Mini Cooper Countryman D model in India for Rs 25.60 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). This makes it the first diesel Mini to be introduced in the Indian market and will be brought here via the completely-knocked-down (CKD) route.

Official bookings for the Ford EcoSport are expected to begin in June. CarWale had reported in February that Ford dealers had been charging between Rs25, 000 to Rs 50, 000 for unofficial bookings for the compact crossover, but had to stop due to excess demand and lack of official word from the company. Now it seems that with bookings starting in June, the car will mostly be launched by the end of this month and consequently deliveries will begin in July.

Honda has launched an upgraded version of its Brio hatchback for Rs 4.12 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).  The upgrades to the Brio includes two new features and a top-end variant. However, the engine line up and underpinnings remain the same.
