The wait is over - Suzuki's new Alto, the A-Star to us, has been launched with an introductory price of Rs 3.47-4.12 lakh.

There will be three variants powered by the 998cc, three-cylinder, 67bhp KB10 engine. The base model will have air-conditioning and power steering. The trump card is the fuel efficiency - an ARAI-claimed 19.59kpl is what MSIL has stated. Watch this space for a drive report.
