Volkswagen Group which launched its New Beetle and the Touareg officially last Friday, will commence the production of its premium hatchback the Polo on the 20th December at the Chakan plant near Pune.
Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Mr. Ashok Chavan will be the chief guest at the event along with the Minister of Industry for Maharashtra and the German Ambassador. The Polo will be launched officially in January 2010. For more information, check the CarWale Blog and Upcoming cars sections regularly.

Well this doesn’t sounds good, i was actually not happy for this, well lets see what happens. Lets just hope for the best.
