Porsche to sell cars in Mumbai through Jubilant Performance Cars

Porsche India has appointed Jubilant Performance Cars Private Limited (JPC) as a dealer for its operations in Mumbai. JPC will take over the operations of Porsche Centre Mumbai with immediate effect.

All the operations for Porsche India will be taken care of by JPC. This includes the sales and also the servicing of all Porsche cars in India. Porsche’s range of two-door and four-door sports cars will be sold by JPC through the existing state-of-the-art Porsche Centre Mumbai showroom at Prabhadevi. The company is setting up a workshop in Sewri, which will act as the Porsche Service Centre to cater to the after-sales requirements.

JPC is a subsidiary of Jubilant Motor Works Private Limited, which operates luxury automotive retail businesses in southern and western India. It is a part of the Jubilant Bhartia Group that has business interests in a diverse range of sectors like Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences, Food Services, Oil and Gas, Agri & Performance Polymers and Consulting Services in Aerospace and Oilfield industries.

Porsche India is a division of Volkswagen Group Sales India Private Limited. Jubilant MotorWorks, of which JPC is a part, has been a retail partner of Volkswagen since 2009. At present in India, Porsche sells the iconic 911 range, Boxster and Cayman mid-engine two-seaters, Panamera sports sedan, Macan and the Cayenne SUVs.
