Ford appoints distributor for parts in Tamil Nadu

Ford India has appointed Eureka Ford Parts as its exclusive distributor for parts in Tamil Nadu. Eureka Ford is the second distributor for Ford parts in India after the company appointed one in Delhi last year. 

“From ensuring trust through Happy Pocket service at our dealerships to easy availability of Ford Genuine parts across Tamil Nadu, we guarantee quality and convenience to our consumers,” said Nigel Harris, president and managing director, Ford India.

 “Looking to expand our product portfolio with 3 new products in next 18-24 months, retail distribution of Ford Genuine service parts is a right step at the right time and is going to reach many more cities in the future," he added.

The retail distribution of parts is a good move by Ford and there will be more manufacturers to join this bandwagon. With local distribution of parts, customers who don’t want to get their car serviced at company outlets after their warranty expires will be happy. Apart from over-the-counter sale of parts Ford has also started customer centric initiatives like 90-minute quick service, mobile service vans, happy pocket service etc.

The company will also add more such exclusive distributors across India and that will certainly help the company in the long run.
