Mahindra Scorpio S4+ and S4+ 4WD prices announced

We had previously reported about an additional variant of the Mahindra Scorpio named S4+. Now, in fact, there are two. The S4 is priced at Rs 9.30 lakh and S4+ 4WD is priced at Rs 10.83 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). At this price the Scorpio S4+ undercuts the Duster by more than a lakh. 

The S4+ will be placed above the two-wheel drive S4 variant, but will get safety features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, seatbelt-reminder warning and panic brake indication. Additionally it will also get follow-me-home headlamps as standard. There would be no cosmetic additions and the Scorpio S4+ 4WD will get black side claddings and steel wheels like the S2 and S4.

The S4+ seems to be more of a VFM package as compared to the competition with the addition of the new features. It seems like Mahindra has hit the bullseye with the Scorpio’s pricing and without surprise the order books might run full for the 4WD too.
