Audi opens a new showroom at Gurgaon for pre-owned cars

Audi Gurgaon has set up a new showroom at Orient Bestech Business Tower, Hero Honda Chowk, NH8, Gurgaon. Called Audi Approved: Plus, the new showroom will exclusively cater to pre-owned luxury car buyers and is spread over a 26, 000 sq. ft. area with room to display 33 cars. The showroom was inaugurated, yesterday, in the presence of Joe King, Head, Audi India and Rashy Todd, Managing Director, Audi Gurgaon (Zenica Cars India Private Limited).

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Joe King, said, “We are proud to announce the opening of the country’s largest Audi pre-owned luxury car showroom – Audi Approved: Plus Gurgaon. The achievements of Audi Gurgaon have been commendable in the area of new car sales and we are confident that they will do an incredible job with this new venture. Every car is put through a rigorous program by highly trained Audi engineers followed by thorough 110 multi-point checks. The vehicles are technically conditioned to Audi standards, thus ‘free of defects’.”

Audi expects first time Audi-buyers to form a major chunk of its customer base for this showroom. Every car sold through Audi Approved: Plus will undergo 110 multi-point checks as well as mechanical, bodywork, interior and electrical inspections, with affected parts being replace with genuine ones. Before hitting the showroom, the car also goes through a full road-test to ensure that it satisfies Audi’s standards and will also be offered with a two year warranty and 24 hours Audi Roadside Assistance.

The market for pre-owned luxury cars is slowly warming up, with many first time luxury car buyers preferring to enter the segment through this route.
