Jaguar has upgraded the 2014 version of its flagship luxury sedan, the XJ. This is an effort to make the flagship Jaguar more appealing and jazzy to its European customers. Changes to the car are mostly cosmetic both inside and outside.
The 2014 XJ get enhanced rear cabin options which includes ‘airline’ style reclining seats with three massage functions – Wave/Rolling, Lumbar and Shoulder along with increased headroom and fold-out business tables. Other changes include a specially re-tuned rear suspension, revised entertainment system with a rear seat entertainment options featuring two hi-resolution touchscreens, and premium Meridian Reference Audio System with Conversation Assist. The Conversation Assist feature uses microphones above each occupant and uses processing technology to 'reinforce' the occupant's voice through the car's speakers, making it easier for occupants to hear each other.
There aren’t many changes to the exterior but the XJ now gets soft closing doors, new 18-inch Manra forged alloy wheels. The customers will have an option to choose from 15 colours depending on your liking. Other than its existing line of engines, the base four-cylinder 2.0-litre engine will come with Stop-Start system to improve fuel efficiency.
