Hey Guys...I test Drove the SX4. I have had a few concerns and not very satisfied with the performance. The suspensions were a lil too stiff for my comfort and nothing great about gearbox,. The looks were another concern...my family was not very kicked about it looks they found it to be very bulky...Good things were the pick up, It was really good, The service and spares are a defnite plus, But i do not think I should blindly go in for just these. Other cars in the category are City, Fiesta, Verna....lotsa buzz happening in all 3 cars. There has been decent reviews on all 4 cars especially on SX4 but to me SX4 was a dissapointment.

Any suggestions/inputs on what i should look out for?

Hitesh Soni City: Baroda New Arrival	i think sx4 is a nice car. i own it as a matter of fact. its more spacious than city, verna or fiesta. more head room leg room n pic up. the interior is not that new but the feel this car gives is nice on highway as well. so if you wish to compare this car with the present lot of cars, i think its the best car right now. future are cars are going to be better ofcourse

hello rajan.

sx4 is a good car & zxi comes with all the features loaded, it is a better buy than the city but if u looking at fiesta 1.6s than its a good option too. at present if u would like to buy a car tan choose between fiesta 1.6s & sx4 zxi. fiesta 1.6s scores over sx4 in ride quality.

if u can wait for 2 months than the new city is on its way by diwali & it will be a great car, so if not in hurry than would suggest u to wait, see the car & than if u dont like than go for sx4 or fiesta.

Pankaj Prasad City: Bhavnagar	Yes, but Fiat Linea Petrol would be 1.4 litre engine that would deliver 78ps of power & 115 nm of torque. While SX4 & Fiesta are more powerful (1.6 litre) with higher power (102 & 101) & torque (145 & 147). Therefore, Linea cannot be compared with these.

Binoy Thomas City: Trivandrum Legend	yes that true but all three cars will be in the same price range and hence they most surely will be compared IMHO. Power ratings on paper might be only one side of the story, real world driveability another. The option of Diesel in the Linea(probably 90bhp re tuned 1.3L MJD) will bring the cars in focus because it will be more powerful than the fiesta and the SX4 will be left out.

Pankaj Prasad City: Bhavnagar	I understand but beg to differ a little because the cars are first compared/preferred based on power ratings. Like-wise, performance too basically depends on the power. Diesel versions are all together different & may not stand true in this context/thread.

Deepam Amin City: Mumbai Legend	if u looking for a petrol & can stretch for sx4 than anytime it is better than the dzire. its more powerful, spacious & a good driver's car.

Pankaj Prasad City: Bhavnagar	Yes, SX4 is better than Dzire - more power, torque, space, comfort etc. Mileage it would give 10/11 in city & 15/16 on highway against Swift's 12/13 in city & 16/17 on highway.
