In that case, it's low for sure.

On highway, despite the load / use of AC / traffic jam, it should have given atleast the city mileage (13/14).

Go for service as per schedule recommended.

But I would suggest you can go to the dealer/workshop & ask them to check/rectify for lower mileage.

You can trust me... i10 generally gives mileage of 13/14 in city & 17/18 on highway - depending upon driving conditions (road/traffic/load/use of AC etc.) & style (speed/use of gears, clutch, brakes etc.).

However, in metros & big cities, it would give lesser than the above quoted figures for obvious reasons, and that stands true for all cars.

Friend, there is absolutely no problem with your i10. This is the result that has come out of a survey that the average milage attained by i10 is 9.6KMS/Ltr. New car will not have any such problem as mentioned by some of the viewers. Full Tank to Full Tank is the best way to test the milage. Refill your tank early morning or late evening. this will also help.

yeah i hv been refuelling da tank always from da day i purchased it...acha tell me sumbody told me tank full nahi karwana chahiye..bcoz petrol gets evaporated every day...mine is also a new car..so according to dis survey it sud not hv any mileage problems....and if da survey is correct den da company's establishment of 15+ average for i10 is false...
