Exterior Good styling for a small car.nice peppy colours.body good.craftsmanship excellent.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious interiors.compant fitted nippon sound syste is very good. Speakes ssounds are awesome with good bass.placement of power window switches are perfect.lot of spaces here and there in the dashboard for small stuff.

Backseat is good perfect for two adult along with one child.vxi version have a company fitted real parcel self of good quality. Cabin is well insulated from outer noise on closed windows.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is better than the old alto.more mileage. More power,more accelaration.engine is less noisy and have very low vibration.

gearbox is butter smooth easy to change gear with little forle.clutch and accelarator is very light compared to other brand.

Ride Quality & Handling Handling is just awesome though have body roll under high speed curving but streeing is light and very responsive

Ride quality is good .suspension is good sometimes feel hard on crossing bumper at high speed.

Final Words Awsome small car for a beginner.have all the necessary features.Ingine immobilizer,speed sensing door lock,12v power outlet all present for a modern day car at such a low price.

Very economical to run and maintain.high mileage gives peace of mind. The most important thing is servicing and spare parts and maruti suzuki is numero uno in this segment.have three service station within 10 km from my home. Service stations are good with good staff and behaiviour.

Areas of improvement Remote central lock,all 4 power windows and 4 speakers instead of two will make alto champion among the champions.

Handling,Accelaration,Braking,Driving ComfortAtleast the vxi version must come with remote central locking.

I bought Alto 800 LXI model car on May'2016 and this is my first car.

This car is good for a small family, interior and exterior are good for this cost. Past 1 year there is no major complaint. I am residing in chennai, the city mileage is 16 Km (with AC) and in the long 22 Km (with AC).

Before buying this car i saw some review that this CAR is not good for long drive. I dont acknowlede this point because I have totally 30,000 Km in past one year. The below are the long drive I have done in past 1 year with this car.

Chennia (Tamil Nadu) to Trivandrum (Kerala) - Total KM approx 1500 KM - I have travelled three time.

Chennai ( Tamil Nadu) to Pollachi (Tamil Nadu) - Total KM appr 1000 KM.

Trivandrum ( Kearala) to Thiruchendur ( Tamil Nadu) - Total KM approx 300KM.

Hope the above trip prove that this car is goog for long trip.

I suggest for a small famil and if it is first CAR then you can buy this car without any doubt. Thsi purely my expereince with ALTO 800 LXI model.

Overall good first vechicleEngine perfomance has to be increased slightly

Compared to several cars in this price segment ,this car plays an precise role in the concept of mileage ,smoother engine .It is a better car and well suited for cities,easy to drive in heavy traffic's,can be driven for all kinds of roads,no problem of small roads.while coming to looks,the car gives an stylish look when compared to old alto,alto k10,maruti800 . The headlights and windows look stylish and different. The power windows button present at the middle is different and it is an marvelous idea designed by engineers.The service cost is low while compared to other company cars.One disadvantage according to me is the body weight.The body weight is too light and this has to be improved.The boot opener present in this car is an amazing feature which is not present in previous cars in this price segment.Totally the car is good and my rating is 8 out of 10

Exterior It is good and aero dynamic but hundai eon is good press line in out side body it should  be more style.and a/c should in std. model head light is good like ford figo.both bumper are gloss less.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Seat qualty is poor and desh bord very poor plastic used compare then eon.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Better then alto, average bhi achi hai. gear box is very smooth, 20-22 kmpl deti hai

Ride Quality & Handling Riding is well but should more better, engine sound feeling in side, gear shifting is good.

Final Words New alto is little expensive companey should less the prise, but it is better than 800.

Areas of improvement Interior should be good qualty, door trim bord is poor quality and both bumpers gloss need to improvement prise is high it should be old alto prise. Price bhot jada hai kam karo. if 20 thousand will be less from price in all the models than it will suparb.

best fuel economyboth bumper is rough and gloss less.

Exterior Good.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Less space, car is for only 4 including driver , passengers on back can not sit comfortably.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Poor, accident pron, Fuel economy is good

Final Words I bought alto 800 CNG LXI on 25th Dec 2012 , the next day engine was giving much shake even on idle state, went to service centre they said it is normal . I have given report to maruthi the they worked on it.

Doors are given noises went for this to service station 5 times till now , till I am not satisfied with thier work. After one month engine is getting raised automatically to high accelators without touching  accelerator, I was unable to drive; Damm I might gone to accident. I am going to sell my car. Frankly speeking it is giving very good milege, but a very light weight car.

Areas of improvement Dorr noises, engine problems, facility for speakers.

Exterior If I talk about exterior is good I like it simple curve neat I have no issue with exterior.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Hmm interior can be more useful can make more space.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine will drop the power when on the ac otherwise its quite enough for the 800 cc engine my top speed was 125. and yes about the mileage I got on petrol is almost 18 kmpl and on CNG you did not believe i got 29 in city and on highway 34. I mean should i say anything else just WOW.

Ride Quality & Handling Handling is nice if they also provide the stearing control that will awesome.

Final Words I happy with my decision and love the car its fit in my pocket i use day to day work to office to friend home to wherever I want I feel like I drove a economical bike instead of car if I talked about economy. Final I happy.

Areas of improvement Interior space can be more useful, they can make more storage like kwid and can give two tone dashboard with good quality and I know they can.

Mileage, Performance, Cost, LooksSpace, Interior, Power

Exterior Well the design is OK not impressive, but with black bumper it looks really bad. It looks like a toad ready to pop at you. Rest all is reasonable.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are fine but dashboard design is really poor. These days people carry so many things like big mobiles, tablets, coolers etc. one finds it very difficult to accomodate them. Take a look at EON. The small space or say slit  provided is absolutely useless as the things kept there keeps falling causing distraction. The windows at the rear are small specially for kids, they just hate it as they cannot enjoy the outside view while sitting. They literally stand to see outside. Even the elders find them awkward. Seating comfort is OK so is the legroom and the boot is decent to carry one family stuff for a week or daily shopping bags.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is smooth but only till the AC is off, once you pressthe button you really have to rev hard and shift gears to keep moving at a constant pace. FE is excellent as I got almost 22 kmpl in plains and 17 kmpl in hills. The gearbox is a real leap forward. Since I am a big car enthusiast I have driven a lot os cars and I found it very smooth and efficient. The cable has done its trick.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Ride is decent and so is handling, but while cornering on a little more speed it tends to go out and you have to keep a firm grip on the stearing to keep it on your side. Since the width is less a fear of toppling over is also there. But if driven with due respect it behaves very well.

 

Final Words Its a decent family car, the top model specially as it is fitted with some goodies.

 

Areas of improvement  Definately DASHBOARD... and if the boot could be increased by a few inches, you know Indian women carry entire home with them while going out, so atleast a 28 or atleast 26 inch suitcase should lay flat in the boot with a few bags etc. on top.

Superb model. Excellent fuel milage.But not for more than 1000km.

Exterior IT NOT GOOD FOR FIRST LOOK ,lack committment and quality and are gaining profits from their previous fame leaving the customers to MISERY,ORVM, Very soft metal body.could get damaged by a small hit. Bad plastic.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) COMFORTABLE SEEAT,,rear leg space is small, small boot.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox GOOD ENG,FUEL ECONOMY,INT SPACE AT LOW PRICE, dull Gearbox Engine.

Ride Quality & Handling GOOD HANDLING ,rigid suspension.

Final Words CHANCE TO CHANGE EX BODY.

Areas of improvement EX BODY & COnot immpressive of  Top model LXI as compared to Eon Dash board has no sufficeitn space and stylishLOURS,STEARING MUSIC SYSTEM, HEATERheight is also good as compare old alto,This is the verdict totally upon my drive of 75 Kms on my friends new Alto 800. Exterior Maruti was in too much hurry to compete with Eon but some how it lacks appeal. To me the older one looks better.Exterior It is good and aero dynamic but hundai eon is good press line in out side body it should  be more style.
