Exterior

Looks of the car are amazing. The day time running LED's look really good. Fluidic design lines flowing through the doors also catch attention and make it a good touch to the exterior detailing.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Packed with amazing features (bluetooth connectivity and music streaming, steering controls for audio and bluetooth, rain sensing wipers, Cooling glove box) the blue colour illuminition on the panels and audio system controls bring a good feel inside the car. The rear parking camera and sensors make it really comfortable to park the car or reversing on busy streets. Great amount of space for a hatchback, 4 Adults can easily travel a long distance and fit two suitcases and a small bag in the boot too.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Engine is the part where it needs to improve, 1.2L engine is not good enough for the weight of the car and energetic pick up's may result in burning some rubber off the tyres. It takes at least 13-14 secods from 0-100 and maybe more with a full load of passangers. The fuel economy of the car is not good as the other competitors. before the first service I hardly got 7 Km/L. after two services also there isn't much improvement as it still gives only like 8-8.5 Km/L. A car with a 1.2 engine should do at least 9-10Km/l in the city. Haven't gone on a proper trip yet to check its efficiency on the highway.

Ride Quality & Handling

The electric power steering makes the i20 an ease to drive in the city. In traffic and while parking, steering the car is a pleasure. Hardly any effort required to parallel park or sway through the traffic. The i20 does very well till 100km/h but after crossing the 100kph mark its advisable to control the steering as the light steering affects the handling of the car.

Final Words

It is a great car to buy for people looking to drive to work everyday inseide a city. But if you're a spirited driver who loves driving and going for long drives dont get too attracted to the features as the engine is a major decision for you.

Areas of improvement

Engine and Fuel efficiency.

Good looks and styling, Loaded with Features, Great comfort for a hatchback.Highly under-powered engine, Bad fuel economy

Luxury has other name hyundai i20 Asta

It's is very featured car at the time of 2011. It has number of features which are very useful and special.my car has 8 airbags Which means it is very safe as compared to today's cars.also it has sunroof.it givas very luxurious experience while driving.

Good performance engine , smooth engine , best service center, pros mileage is under 13 km/l ,pillar are strong and heavy, The i20 also benefits from the excellent after-sales service and resale value that all Hyundai cars enjoy in India.

i20 not giving milage in city

Exterior It is fine i love it in first sight, I have black i20 its a monster for me.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are all good. i love it except no mileage meter causes huge toruble.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy is too bad way too bad delphi injectors are sucking the blood out of me. due to change in injectors fuel economy goes way too down to 11 KMPL in city and 16 on highway with AC . rest everything is fine.

Ride Quality & Handling Ok not bad i wont mind ride is smooth but on highway you need to take full control of wheel. unlike swift if this beast cross 140 you cant handle it .. and its a bad thing for a car specially with 6 gears. Car was desig for cruise on highway but its of no use if you can't take out beast out of box.

Final Words Good car but buy only bosh injectors engine else you will cry a lot.

Areas of improvement High speed handling need to take care of. Car doesnt seems to be in control.

Great car with awesome specifications

It's a great car, with outstanding space, awesomely huge boot space and great sound system. The seats are just perfect for a long drive. Although the ac takes a little more time to completely cool up the car, interior feels very upmarket and steering controls too are very great, but there's little bit disappointment that it doesn't have Bluetooth connectivity in early 2011 models, whereas you can see Bluetooth connectivity in 2011 December model cars. Overall the car is great but its mileage is little bit low.

Best car for middle class, mileage is super, comfortable , super ac, super speed ,best for long journey, I drive it on hilly area like Nainital Mussoorie ,Rishikesh ,badrinath dham. This car is comfortable for long journey, I also driven this car from Delhi to shahjahanpur, barely, Lucknow etc. Reverse camera is very good for driver.
