Very bad experience of using grand i10 within two years tired of engine problems many times 36000km first time engine locked and from that problems are continued no satisfaction of using car

 Interior is very good, but not having Anti braking system, spacious, sporty look.

 Engine is good. Good fuel economy, gear box is good n well place.  interior  is exceleent as usual of i10.

Areas of improvement  

 ABS needed in sport, asta and magna varients. Good to see hyundai is deliverying fuel ecomony cars. main competitors are RITZ, Swift, FIGO and BEAT.kappa model has low fuel economy..............................................................................................................................................................................................

 Other significant features of the Grand i10 include multifunction steering wheel with Bluetooth, smart key with push button start/stop, rear parking sensors, tilt steering, leather steering wheel, audio and trip meter controls, auto folding outside rear view mirrors with electric adjust, turn indicators on mirrors, cooled glove box, rear spoiler, auto down function for driver side power window, chrome door handles, rear defogger, rear washer and wiper, driver seat height adjust, body side moulding, roof rails, front and rear power outlets, dual airbags and ABS.

Exterior Grand i10 has New/Fresh look, Not like boring look of swift present in market from 8-10 years.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Cool & plastic Quality is very good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Top speed158, Mileage in gurgaon city i have 11-12 with AC, On Highway 16.5 to 17.5 Km/L with AC. Recomended tyre pressure for Grand i10 is (33-35)psi, GearBox is very smooth.

Ride Quality & Handling Good pickup in 5 people sitting in car also even AC is on. fun to drive

Final Words I was confuse in Swift & Grand but finaly i have buy grand i10, it ias better than swift in comfort,boot space,interior,features,mileage on Highway with AC working. Happy with my choice.

Areas of improvement Horn sound should be load.

Exterior It is awesome from aesthic view. Quality material used. New Grand i10 is with Class design.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Dual tone interior gives you the class experience, Rear vent AC is very powerfull and gear box is really smooth u will love to drive car in city and on highway too the car is really responsive and having a good handling and really nice suspesion.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very smooth, But Fuel Economy need to be improved, It gives 12-13 KM/Lit and On Highway it gives 18-19 KM/Lit 

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is best in comparison with any of the Maruti Suzuki cars. I will give 9/10 the car really worth the money... u can go for it.

Final Words This is my First Car and found it Awesome, Definitely one should go for it

Areas of improvement Odometer does not shows the basic features like (to Empty Distance, Milage). Milage in the City is really very Poor 12 KMPL but it is good when it comes to Highways i.e. 18 KMPL.

Exterior

 The overall exterior is up to mark and it looks much better than some of the hatch back cars selling in this segment. The back view is different and it looks like an smaller version of an luxury car. The body design, head lamp, tail lamp, handles, micro antenna looks like made for Grand i1o only and it fits well with the car.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Magna is the second version and it has almost all basic features other than Music system and parking sensor and I added music system from Sony and Video parking camera to fulfill the same. The space, comfort and seats are well placed and does not give a compact car feel while 5 people are inside car. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 The Engine performance is up to the mark as per a 1200CC engine and it gives required power as per the need. Gear box position and the shifting of gear make the driving easy. Steering is electrical motor driven and driving with it gives pleasure though there is scope of improvement. My Vehicle gives mileage 11KM/lit (Petrol) inside city which will improve after 1st service. Brakes are a plus factor that adds up to safety.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Comfortable ride inside city ( I have not taken to NH) and Handling is good where as there is scope of improvement which will make it a more smiles on road while driving.

Final Words

I own the car since 21st Sept 2013 and I find the Grand i10 a Descent family hatch back that appears as a mini version of some luxury car and is gives you back the value for money. 

Areas of improvement  

 1. Tail lamp cover fades and gives a dull look.

2. Battery was getting discharged ( strange for a new car) if car stays for 3 days without running and as there was some oversupply of current to Instrument Cluster( where you have tachometer, trip meter etc.) and that was draining battery. They have upgraded the firmware of cluster after complain but still I need to test it again by putting car 6 days at home without running. This seems a serious defect (as you need to push the car to start) and Hyundai should voluntarily upgrade without waiting for customer complain. 

3. The fixed Back could have been replaced with adjustable head rest.

4. The city mileage should be improved.

5. I got fitted my mud flaps after 2 months because it was not available. this calls for an improvement.

 

6. Its already 4 months since lunch and no accessories are available with dealer. So, need to be more proactive to get accessories in the first month of launch

Final Words Engine is very Silent and Driving Comfort is good.

Areas of improvement Head Lamps are inferior. The provision of Boot Opening from drive seat has to be there. Wiper Blades control in Era model has to equivalent to Asta model. The Sales Experience I had from the Hyundai Dealer M/s.Trident Hyundai, Bangalore is  the worst experience in my life. But the Trident Hyundai's Service is EXCELLENT. Thanks to Mr.Kumar (Service Manager) at HSR LayOut Service Centre.

While going for purchasing a car dealers bluff the customers by charging some amount as handling charges depending on make and model. This is applicable to all make cars. They claim is charged ftransporting car from factory to dealership, PDI Charges and RTO under table charges. The fact is that all car makers give the delivery of the car todealerships free of cost and Post Delivery Inspection (PDI) is the mandatory check to be done by dealerships before delivering the vehicles which has to be done by dealers at free of cost. If we pay Road Tax the RTO has to register the vehicle. Noo need of under table payment. Actually all dealerships are cheating customers by taking HANDLING CHARGES. In their exshowroom price itself their profits are there. Please dont get cheated by paying handling charges while you purchase new car.

Good StyleHead Lamp Bulbs,Boot Opening and Wiper Blade Control

This is my first car, after lot of surveys and test drives I decided to buy I 10 grand Sports petrol.

I have driven 7000kms and completed 1 year also and now I am in love with this car.

At starting there was problem with gear box but Hyundai replaced it without spending a Single penny.

About Car: This car is awesome. This not common like swift. Luxurious feel, very smooth, very silent engine, comfortable can’t compare with other car in this segment.

Visible area from car is gr8 you will not feel that you are packed in a box, car gives me 20kms/liter avg on highway. Leg room is very good, boot space is good. Very good looking car.

Excellent ac but makes noise on 3rd 4th. Very Good pickup and stable at speed of 150 on express highways. Good build material.

If you love luxury, comfort, smooth engine, and stylish look then pls go ahead with I10 grand, If you love only cheap spare parts and lot of service centers, good resale value then you know.

Area of improvement is more colour options, ABS and Air Bags in sports model.

My grand i10 petrol four years ago. Since then I have clocked more than 50k km. My experience with it has been more than pleasant. I have divided my entire experience so far in pros and cons. 1. The ride quality is good. It has sufficient power for city driving. 2. It is best in class as far as the leg room is concerned. 5 people can fit easily into it. 3. Looks good and has good number of features for your comfort inside the car. The fit and finish of each part are perfect. 4. The quality of plastic used inside the cabin is very high. It has been four years and it still looks as good as new. 5. Dual color interiors are designed ideally. It makes the car look very roomy and bright. 6. The mileage is less as compared to some Maruti Suzuki cars or as claimed by Hyundai.

Awesome car for long drives and also gives very good comfort, i bought this car 2nd hand but it feels like new. Very nice for a small family. if we compare it with other cars Grand i10 ASTA is one of the best and coolest cars.
