Let me first compliment your late father for meticulously keeping all the records - right from the booking order.  A very few people do that.  Anyway.

Needless to say, you have all the required papers.  Just update Insurance Policy & BMV tax.  It appears that the car was on finance.  If the loan has been repaid, ascertain/ensure that NOC from Bank has been submitted to RTO, and that, bank clause/lien has since been removed from the RC Book (RTO records).

While selling the car in future, you need to hand over the RC Book & Insurance Policy along with TTO (Transfer Form) duly signed by you & the buyer.

Thanks a million Pankaj.

Yes my car was in finance and my dad had repaied loan long back, I did not mention loan documents and letters it in my mail because I did not wanted to confuse reader. You have eye for details. Great !

I will update Insurance policy and BMV tax.

I remember last time I had paid tax for consecutive year plus fine. But now I have heared that I need to pay onetime tax.

Any idea on what is amount of one time tax and since what year it is applicable.

Well, there's nothing great about it - I could make out from 'Sai Service Letter of Finance' you have mentioned. Anyway, thanks

Regarding that life-time tax... As I understand, the car will be valued as on date after deducting the depreciation (as applicable in insurance).  The tax amount will be 6% of the car's value so determined.
