Finally I brought New Swift Dzire ZXi, Speakers are good, not worst, but having only issue with USB In, I have 16Gb Usb Drive but Wen I insert it to Factory fitted music system (Nippon) it shows Error 1, wen I had talk with dealer , he said it supports only 2 Gb, but user manual shows 4gb, i tried with 4 Gb but still having same issue ie Error 1.
Please suggest me what should I do..???
It could be a USB version problem - check the USB version/standard supported by the music system. Most new PCs/laptops support USB 2.0 upwards and are compatible with USB sticks that use the older verison (1.0). Not so with music systems - if they are built using the older standard, they will not play/recognise USB devices that use a later standard.
Hi Dheeraj and Prakash,
please change the format of the USB as many Head units does not recognise NTSC.Change the format to FAT or FAT32 and try your luck.Hope it helps. If not try formatting your USB from a different device(friend's laptop). Please let me know if it works.
hey...i hv tried evrerything u mentioned...but none worke!!pls help
Please let me know the details of the usb you are using like(gb,company, format of the usb)
I am using HP 4GB pendrive Model V165w
and another is Transcend 2 GB JetFlash 330 but both shows me ERROR 1 in my music system.
and both pen drives are in FAT32 format
Change the format (file extension) of the drive using device manager and give it a try or else go to the sales executive and ask for the sample USB and check its details. I think swift ICE supports up to 4gb only.I too had similar problems with my I20 usb and changed the format using its works charming.
hey i dont know how to do it...pls help me..
