both brc and lovato are leading italian brands. in mumbai both are available between 18 and 20k. price of 14k is prima facie suspect for any good italian kit
more imp than th brand is th lpg profesional u choose ... make sure he is th best in ur town ........irrespective of how much he costs
in BRC LPG gas kit there is two model one of 16500/- and 18500/- . which one is best and also is BRC best as compare to ECON LPG kit. This all is for Maruti 800 AC
BRC is, to my knowledge, more preferred kit then any other. Here in Gujarat, it's almost BRC everywhere. Go for the better version costing Rs.18500/-.
Both the brands are equally good as both are being used by me on 2 different cars. But my leaning is towards lovato owing to better fuel economy that I get.
As regards the difference in pricing the pricing on Lovato@14000 is suspect. There seems to be some compromise on some parts owing to reduced pricing, else pricing is more or less on par.

1. i learn from my fitters that earlier there used to b 2 qualities in brc ...... now there is only 1 ..... which costs 18k at mumbai
2. there is no kit by th name econ .......... econ is the brand of tanks used by most kits ...... including brc and lovato
with wholesale indegenisation of all italian lpg kits........... lovato is the kit which still has max original italian components ........... also it is an over 50 yr old world renowned company ............ in india it is avalable across the country ........... i hv used lovato 2 yrs back with utmost satisfaction and after sales service ......... never heard of any ownership problems

Actually, in my city the retrofitter is very near to my place. Till last year, I had always seen him dealing in Lovato kits but now he deals with BRC. One of these days I had been there for my vehicle's PUC (he deals in PUC as well). On my enquiring about LPG & all that, he told me exactly what you have just said but added that because Lovato now has some ownership problem, BRC is more preferred & is equally good. Anyway.
u r from bhavnagar . pankaj ..... & if my information is not incorrect .. brc is distributed from gujarat ...... hence possibly its popuarity in gujarat
i m not saying brc is not good ................. just wot i stated in my last post .......... that of al th imported kits available in india .... lovato has th max italian components
