Delhi Meet II; 1-day drive/picnic (07/03/10) - pg 7

Folks,

We decided in the National Meet in December, that we should have regular interaction, to give the IDs faces, and to add some fun to the keyboard zombie life that most of us lead.

In March, it will be a quarter since the national meet, and it would be good time for an outing - not too cold, not to warm, and longer days to accommodate a decent one-day drive-out outing. I am proposing a date too, so that it is easier to converge - Sunday, March 7th.

I propose we start in the morning, and go to some place a couple hours away, where we can relax, have some dhaba-food, chill out with a six-pack (strictly optional) and yap away the noon. Then, when we have had our fill of chat, we can start back in time to reach our respective destinations before dusk, with some contribution to global warming, and a lot of contribution to warming the members' hearts, that will get freshened up because of a day away from meetings, projects, mails, documents, proposals, deadlines, groceries, courtesy (phoney?) visits and the likes (you know the laundry list, doncha?)

Delhi/NCR members, please jump in the thread, give your opinions, and sign up for the meet. I will have a separate thread in the announcement section summarizing the status, if I get 10 confirmations. (4 people meeting and chatting does not constitute a meet. Opinion not negotiable!)

I am not from Delhi/NCR and I cant join because of family commitments but most probably I will have a personal meet with Krishna before March.
