Pros contd... 13. Speed & pickup hardly affected by A/C 14. When car is stationary with engine on, its sooo smooth that I can hardly make out at times that the engine is on !! 15. Clutch foot-rest a great option in all Hyundai cars. Really helps in less usage of clutch & perfect rest for d foot. – A very clever & useful feature. 16. NVH factor very good, with windows closed one’s own horn or other’s horn is just about audible !!

CONS: 1. Power is adequate but not peppy like santro & swift. One can feel lil bit power shortage at times, but still adequate. 2. Slightly over expensive 3. Getting mileage of around 11 - 11.5 in city with mix of A/C & without A/C and before 1st service) 4. Thigh support is slightly less for driver atleast 5. bad ability over potholes, car seems to sway/move more over potholes Overall definitely a better buy than santro anytime-one would not regret it even over swift. Hi..It has been a while you posted your review. Please update us on mileage and anything you found pros & cons. And some more pointer in camparision with Swift VXI whould be very helpful. I am in confusion to take Getz or Swift.

Hi Kumar, I aslo drove my Getz 1.1 on highway till 130kmph, at which steerign wheel was slightly vibrating, so i guess this one not meant for above 140kmph! Mileage in city = ~12 w/o AC), highway = ~17-18kmpl. Normally its very comfortable & pleasure to drive unless u want speed factor 9then go for swift), otherwise I find getz better than swift on most of the fronts. If ur driving is mostly city go for getz, if ur driving is quite a lot on highways thn go fr swift.UVA falls b/w these 2 acc to m

more: on highways safety is more imp, so got for Swift Vxi with ABS & safety bags. getz also has 1 v nice feature especially for single users: u can close air vents on LHS completely to double air flow & AC effect only on drivers side. getz has more comfortable rear seats, more boot space, gear shift v smooth, clutch rest pedal, 60:40 rear split + complete foldable, 3 pockets to keep bottles, better rear view while backing etc. swift scores on bigger tyres, speed & acc, slightly better mileage

1.Extremely spacious 2.IF you are planning to buy 1.1 gvs.. go for 175 tyre. It comes fully loaded with spoiler and orogonal hyundai wheel caps. 3. Fuel indicator helps a lot. Great pick up & power steering just amazing. 4.Its been 6 days since we 've purchased. Its giving 14 kmpl in city( w/o AC). 5.I guess once we are done with the servicing. It mite give up to 16 in city..This takes Hyundai Getz a step further when it comes with Swift. NO SECOND THOUGHT TO BUY THIS VEHICLE. GETZ ROCKS!!

Manoj, Now I wld suggest not to go for 1.1Getz, I'm not happy with the engine after 2 yrs now. U'll feel lack of power & torque most of the time. Also its a old car now & wld be phased out, go for i10, definitely better. Also in DDun, power wld be crucial to you. or go for i20/swift if u can.
