Chrysler & Dodge cars to be sold badged as Lancia and Fiat in Europe

The Chrysler - Fiat deal seems to be disclosing it's future plans.

- Chrysler brand will make it's exit from Europe by 2011 and most Chrysler's and Dodge's will make their way badged as Lancia's and Fiat's.

This Lanica Phedra will be replaced by the Chrysler Voyager.

The gorgeous Lancia Thesis below will be replaced by the next generation 300C. Now, I am a big fan of the 300C but why Fiat. Why? Just look at the Thesis!

Dodge Journey will replace the Fiat Ulyesse and the Fiat Croma (pictured below) will be replaced with a new Dodge mid-size sedan. The next generation Neon? Oh God no!

Lastly, the Fiat Sedici (also sold by Suzuki as the SX4) will be replaced by the Dodge Nitro.

Of course, the deal is reciprocal so Lancia, it seems will compliment Chrysler in North America. So while it seems like American roads are set to turn more beautiful with the onset of Lancia, European roads will get uglier with Lanica's getting replaced with Chrysler's.

I have great regard and respect for Sergio Marchionne but I really hope Fiat is not on a suicidal path with these plans!
