Nice review.  Some featues like desmodronic foldable key with remote control, service interval of 15,000 km with service reminder, 2 way fuel lid opening [by pulling a lever by the side of driver's seat and pulling a loop of a thread inside the boot], 3 way boot opening [by remote, by manually using key and central console], Blue&Me co-branded with Microsoft with voice commands, seat belt not worn warning buzzer/display, specific door/boot open warning, low fuel warning display, speed warning, 'Follow me home' -automatic switching off headlamps after specified time interval, automatic climate control with rear ac vents, etc. are innovative, and perhaps, first time offered in India for car of this price range.

Most of the features, you have mentioned at available in the pricing range. Like the i20 has similar keys, seat belt warning, automatic climatic control. Speed warning, and Blue and Me thingy goes to Fiat.

I tried this and I had understeer, I tried that and I had oversteer, at the end of the corner I just ran out of talent!

I stopped reading the review at this:

"Two six-footers will sit comfortably behind one another in the Linea, and there is enough headroom at the rear for tall passengers as well."

People who have sat in the car will know that this is not true, especially the underlined part.

The fact that a very obvious issue with the vehicle is sought to be misrepresented with praise leaves a very bad taste in the mouth.

I'm sorry, I do not trust this review.

@Steeroid: We drove from Mumbai to Chennai and back in the very car you see in the photos, MH12 FF 4885. The shortest of the people in the car was 5'11", and no one complained of lack of headroom. My 2p bit.

I disagree with your view Steeroid. If you have sat at the rear seat, you won't have said this. I have personally travelled in this car and I'm almost 6 feet. Please don't go by rumours. Experience it personally and see. Fiat's are great cars to own even in India and their service quality is at par with most of the manufacturers. I'm saying this with my own personal experience.

I too read about insufficient rear heardroom of Linea in various auto magazines. Hence during my testdrive I checked with 2 of my tall relatives who were 5'10" + to sit at the rear and cheked their comfort for ingress egress as well as during drive with the car going over speedbreakers.  No on one complained.

Only then I decided to discount that negative point of Linea.

The rear headroom is not so low to cause problems.
